Overview: Space Raccoons is a chaotic, competitive card game where players take turns digging through piles of cards, called the Trash Heap, in search of valuable junk. This project started as a independant study for a class, but since grew to the founding of an LLC along with the creation of a Kickstarter campaign. Space Raccoons is a physical card game, and has currently undergone a successful Kickstarter funding and is in the process of production.

Contributions:

Card Creation: I was responsible for the creation of card prototypes for playtesting. Using a combination of scripting and tools, I created cards for each iteration to be playtested. I also setup a tabletop simulator version for rapid playtesting earlier in development. I collaborated with the other team members to get art and design perspectives to assist with this process.

Production: I managed the quotes for production costs and specifications. As well as managed deadlines and task priorities to stay on track for the Kickstarter and following printing process.

Social Media: Maintained the social media accounts for Space Raccoons : Raccoons in Space. This was within Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and Twitter accounts.

Design: Worked with teammates on design of the game. Creating cards, mechanics, and win conditions. These were iteratively and rapidly improved through the prototyping process, with multiple different versions of the game tested at each playtest.
